Studded Turquoise-Black Nails

Hello there!!
How are you doing? It has been a long time since I posted something. I was a little harsh on my nails due to cleaning and stuff while shifting to our new apartment. I didn't want to show off my damaged nails and that's the reason for this loooong break. Now, as they are getting better, I am back on track with this very simple turquoise and black nails. Hope you like it :)!!

I used..

I started off with a base coat and painted my nails with two coats of turquoise nail polish. Then for the ring finger and thumb, I created black stripes using a striper. Then filled one gap with gold nail polish as shown. For the remaining nails I applied black graffiti nail paint and added a round gold stud at the base of the nail. Finally applied a top coat and done!!
So, What do you think about these nails? Do let me know by commenting below:)!!

I used..

Apply a base coat and two coats of your base color and let them dry completely.
Using a white nail art pen or toothpick and white nail polish, start creating the dots, diagonally across your nail as shown.
Fill in the gaps with more dots to form a solid dotted line.

Stripes nail art using toothpick

Hello there!! Here is my second pattern, the basic stripes pattern nail art.  You will find thousands of posts relating to stripes nail art in google. I do them in 3 different ways. One way is using toothpick, the other is using scotch tape and the final one using a striper brush. I don't want to flood all of these methods in one post. So, I have 3 posts for you today..Woohoo!!!
Here is the first method using a tooth pick. It is super easy and I like the bumpy look it creates. Hope you like it too :)

I used...

Apply a clear base coat and a thick coat of your base color. When the nail polish is still wet, start creating stripes by dragging a toothpick through the nail polish as shown in the picture.  Keep a tissue paper by your side as you need to clean the toothpick after each line to avoid mess around your nails. You can create either horizontal or vertical stripes. Here I did horizontal stripes.  The idea is to remove some lines of nail paint, to get the stripes. You should be a bit fast in doing this as you get better results when the nail paint is still wet.

If you want to enjoy the bumpy look, don't apply a top coat and if you want a smooth look, apply a top coat and you are done :)!!! I hope you enjoy recreating it and don't forget to join me to get the updates :)!!!!

Stripes nail art using scotch tape

Hello there!! Here is my second pattern, the basic stripes pattern nail art.  You will find thousands of posts relating to stripes nail art in google.                                                Here is the second method, using a scotch tape. This takes some time but the outcome is pretty impressive. Hope you enjoy this :)!!

I used.....

Firstly cut a bit of scotch tape into stripes and stick them to the edge of your working table as it will be easy for you while taking them out.

Apply a base coat and two coats of white nail polish and let it dry completely.

Then stick the tape stripes on to the nail leaving gaps. The boldness of the lines depends on the gaps we leave between the tape stripes and the tape stripe's thickness.

Then apply nail polish of your choice as shown. You can use one color or many. Here I have used 2 colors.

Without waiting, peel off the tape from the nail. Apply a top coat and you are done:)!!!
