Girly Girl Nail Art challenge - Week 5 - Gotta love chick flicks!!

Hello there!! Yes, I am alive and still around :)! I was so busy and there were a lot of happenings in my life(good of course:)) that I hardly had time to paint my nails and for blogging. Now, as all set, here I am, back again!!  And a big welcome to all the new ladies :)!!
I was in the middle of the Girly Girl Challenge and I am super duper late in posting my remaining manis. So, continuing with the Girly Girl Nail Art Challenge, here is my week 5 mani. The theme was "Gotta love chick flicks". I am not into chick flicks that much. But I took inspiration from the movie "Bridesmaids" poster and here it the simple outcome :)

Day 29 - Inspired By A Song - April 30 Day Nail Art Challenge

Hi Ladies!! Tired of my posts?! lol..Please bear with me..just two more to go. So here is my Day 29 mani for the April 30 Day Nail Art Challenge. The theme was Inspired by a Song. I took inspiration from the Material Girl by Madonna and here is the result :)

 I used..

I painted my ring finger and thumb with one coat of silver nail paint and two coats of silver glitter polish. And for the remaining nails I used pink nail paint. I did a silver sequin border for my middle finger and for my fore finger and pinky I used silver rhinestones.

Day 15 - Water Marble - April 30 Day Nail Art Challenge

Hello there:)!! I crossed 100 likes mark on Facebook...Woohoo!! I am so excited and I would like to thank all you lovely ladies out there for the love, support and encouragement <3 <3. 

 I was so busy since 2 days that I didn't had time to post my manis. So, I have four posts for you today. The first one for the April 30 Day nail art challenge, Day 15. The theme was Water marble and I did this one. This is my second attempt of water marbling. First time, I did it to see how the technique works and I thought I will never do this again..lol...Seriously, it takes a lot of time for me. But, here I am, doing it again and here is the outcome. Hope you like it:)!!

I used..

Firstly apply a base coat and two coats of white nail paint and let dry. Tape the area around your nails as shown to avoid messy fingers. For the detailed tutorial see  HERE .

Pink - Day 6 - April 30 Day Nail Art Challenge

Hello Girlies!! Here is my mani for Day 6 of April 30 Day Nail Art Challenge. The theme for Day 6 is Pink and I have this very simple and easy floral design. Hope you like it :)!!! You can check the themes in the picture at the end of this post. 

I used...

Firstly, apply a base coat and two coats of pink nail paint and let it dry.

 Using a nail art pen or white nail paint and a toothpick, create some flowers as shown.

Using a toothpick and yellow nail paint, add a dot to the middle of each flower.

Finally add a top coat and done :)!!

Hello Girlies!! I am into another amazing nail art challenge hosted by Mani's by Moore and Closet Diva named the Girly Girl Nail Art Challenge. We will be posting the manis for this challenge every friday. There will be 8 manis altogether and the themes are as below. Today is the first day and the theme is Think Pink and I have a very simple pink and silver mani. I used...

Firstly apply a base coat and two coats of silver nail paint.

Then apply a layer of pink nail paint leaving gap as shown in the picture to create a silver inverted 'U' shape.

Then apply silver polish on the pink polish leaving gap. Repeat the same with alternate pink and silver polish till your whole nail is filled.

Finally apply a top coat and done :)!!

Retro polka dot nails

Hello girlies !! Here is a super easy retro nail design. Hope you like it :)!!!

 I used...

Firstly, apply a base coat and two coats of the base color and let it dry completely.

Using a bigger dotting tool, Start creating dots as shown. If you don't have a dotting tool, you can use the end of makeup brush or a straight pin for bigger dots.

Then using a medium dotting tool, create white dots inside the pink dots.

Using a smaller dotting tool or a bobbin pin or a toothpick create pink dots inside the white dots.

Finally apply a top coat and you are done :)!!

Stripes and dots nail art

                             Here comes a simple striped design for everyday nails. It is very easy to do and looks very elegant on nails.

Nail polishes used

Let's begin!!!!

1. Apply a base coat.

2. Apply two coats of pink nail polish and let it dry.

3. With a striper, create violet stripes vertically.

4. Take few drops of white polish on a paper or cardboard and using tootpick, add white dots to the nails as shown in the picture.

5. Finally apply a top coat and you are done!!!!

Pink nails with silver tips

Nail polishes used

Let's begin!!!!

1. Apply a base coat.

2. Apply two coats of pink nail polish.

3. Add silver diagonal tip to each nail. For this put a scotch tape diagonally across each nail and fill the tip with two coats of silver nail polish. Remove the tape carefully.

4. Then using dark pink polish and a striper brush, create stripes vertically and horizontally on the silver tip as in the picture.

5. Finally add a top coat and you are done!!!
