Hello again!! This is the last post of the April 30 Day Nail Art Challenge organised by Short and Sweet in Texas. I really enjoyed doing all the manis. A big thanks to Julie of  Short and Sweet in Texas. French Tips With A Twist - Day 14 - April 30 Day Nail Art Challenge

Hello there!! Hope you are having/ had a wonderful weekend! Today is Day 14 of the April 30 Day Nail Art Challenge and the theme of the day is French with a twist. I did this super duper easy French mani, ofcourse with a twist. I saw this technique on Youtube long time back, when I was just interested in watching the videos and not trying them out as my nails were terrible then because of my nail biting habit. When I read the theme, French with a twist, this technique came to my mind first and I went ahead with it. Sorry for not naming the creator of this design as I don't really remember and I tried to search for this video on youtube but failed :( . So, here is my recreation and I think the outcome is cute. What do you girls think?

I used...

Firstly, Apply a base coat and two coats of your base color and let it dry.

For the French tip, I used alternate black and red nail paint. Start by creating a small back triangle as shown, at one end of the tip. No separate tool is required for this. Just use the nail polish brush.

 Then a diagonal stroke of the red polish brush as shown, towards the tip of your nail. Repeat the same, alternating the colors. Finally add a top coat and done:)!!

                                  This post includes all the nail art designs of other nail artists from you  tube and other blogs on the internet, which I re-created. The first one is the colorful strawberry nails. This design looks good on both long and short nails.

I came across this design while searching google images for nail art. I don't know the original nail artist's name. Here is the recreation of the same....

Let's begin!!!!

1. Apply a base coat.

2. Apply two coats of blue nail polish.

3. Add a diagonal white tip. You can use scotch tape for this. Put the tape diagonally across each nail and fill in the tip with two coats of white polish.

4 Now using the toothpick, create white dots in the blue area and blue dots in the white area.

5. Finally apply a topcoat and you are done!!!!
